A great money-saver when shopping for your favourite brands is to be able to visit their physical store and avoid paying shipping fees. Of course this also provides a great shopping experience as it allows you to interact with their knowledgeable staff. Shopping for cruelty-free in Hong Kong can be done in physical stores as well through stores you may or may not have known are cruelty-free. Well known for their bright and colorful handmade fresh cosmetics, has been an advocate for ending animal testing for over 20 years. All of their ingredients are sourced from ethical suppliers that do no test on animals. According to their website LUSH is 100% vegetarian, cruelty-free, ethically conscious, and made with the freshest products. There are currently 9 different locations in Hong Kong.

Marks and Spencer

A big British brand with a big heart for animals. Since 2006, all Marks and Spencer beauty and household products are 100% cruelty-free. You can check out the back of their products to see their Leaping Bunny certification logo! Lucky for us they’ve got many locations around Hong Kong – across the Island to the New Territories.

Hourglass Cosmetics

Sleek, modern, and free from any animal testing. Hourglass is still growing but has a full selection of products to suit your skincare and makeup needs.  They have licensed PETA’s official bunny logo on their products and have many vegan options as well. You can find Hourglass products at Lane Crawford.

Urban Decay (*Owned by L’Oreal)

Urban Decay products not only look great and feel great but they also have cruelty-free certifications from both PETA and Leaping Bunny, and have tons of products that are also vegan. No wonder they are a staple for the modern day animal loving girl. Though there are not many products currently available in Hong Kong they may be found at these locations here.

The Body Shop (*Owned by L’Oreal) 

The Body Shop is committed to not testing on animals and carries the Leaping Bunny certification logo. Not only are they cruelty free but also use sustainable ingredients and fair trade when sourcing from suppliers. The Body Shop has many locations around Hong Kong and you shouldn’t have a hard time finding one at all! Here’s their website for more information.

Their products are gentle, safe, and Leaping Bunny certified. Their ingredients are simple, wholesome and thoroughly tested so you can rest assured you are only putting the good stuff on your body. Jason products can be found at various supermarkets such as Fusion, Taste, and ParknShop. They are also located in Global Wellness located at 12-16 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central.
